I have recently been undertaking a marketing placement at social enterprise, Communities Engage and Thrive (CIC). This organisation works to educate people about the importance of nutrition, and mental well-being, putting on free classes in the local community.
During my time there I helped out with the diabetes program, taking pictures and shooting videos to promote the workshops to the local community. I also kept the social media accounts up to date. ensuring all pages were thriving with content!
This was a really enjoyable and valuable experience for me, and has led me to the decision that I want to work in marketing!
ABOUT ME
I'm a final year media and communications student soon to graduate from Birmingham City University.
I've spent much of my time at University doing lots of photo shoots and creating pieces of television with my peers. I particularly enjoy studio photography, and I can often be found doing fashion and beauty shoots with my friends!
I have done freelance videography working at a red carpet bridal fashion show for bridal design company, June Peony and I'm always looking to collaborate on new projects!
I have recently been doing a marketing placement promoting the services of a local social enterprise and have really enjoyed my time there. So, now I'm looking for a graduate role that involves photography and marketing!
